A sponsor charity is a relationship between a non profit organization and a vendor. This permits the use of the name of the charity for the placement of vending equipment in business locations in return for donations to the charity. Using a charity benefits in several ways; the vendor has an easier time locating his equipment because of the charity's known work. The charity gets a new source of snacks and an image of helping the community ........ a great public relations boost.

There are a number of national charities that are already using vending outreach programs to generate supplemental funding. Below is a list of charities that you may wish to affiliate yourself with or you may contact a specific charity or organization which holds a strong interest for you or your community.

The charity you choose will require that you to complete a contract giving your business name, address, how many machines on location and your signature. They will send you all of the necessary information, forms and assistance to secure locations.

Sponsorship fees vary depending on the number of machines you have and the charity you choose. Typical fees range from $1.00 to $3.00 per unit / per month for bulk machines and slightly more for the full size machines. When you have 50 machines the rate is not as significant as when you have a thousand or more machines. However, as your route grows and you continue to add on machines you can negotiate your own arrangement with the charity. They understand that while each machine will not generate a large cash flow; collectively your route can create significant funding for minimal effort on their part.
